There are thirty species of fish native to fresh water in Everglades National Park. Fish are very important to the Everglades environment. They are the main source of food for larger fish, wading birds, and even alligators. Native fish also do a great job of controlling the insect population. During the summer (wet) season, the water level in the Everglades is high and fish are scattered across the shallows. In the winter, when it is dry, the fish move into deeper canals and "gator holes," where standing water is still available. When this happens you can catch many Bass (30-50) ranging in size from 2-4 lbs with the occasional 8-10 Bass.


Fishing with artificial lures are the best way to Bass Fish the Florida Everglades. The choice of lures here are fairly wide, but Plastic worms are the most consistent. Top Water action can be a blast if you have some cloud cover or ripple on the water. Crank bait can also be exciting when the water is down off the flats and in the canals.

Our rates are the same as most of the guides services on Lake Okeechobee, but as you shop around you will find some other guides a charging little less. So please be careful and just remember you get what you pay for! and as always "credibility counts" .

Price is for one to two Person per boat
$250.00 HALF DAY 4+ hour trip
$300.00 SUPER HALF 6+ hour trip
$350.00 FULL DAY 8+ hour trip
 Length of Fishing Trip........A minimum of 8+ hours for a full day,
 6+ hours for super half and 4+ hours for a half day AM or PM.
 Equipment
All of our Fishing guides have quality rods, reels and coolers for your use at no additional cost.
Live bait and wild shiners are not included in the guide fee.
 
Deposits
To ensure the availability of you guide, a deposit of $100.00 is required for each guide.
